Berrypoint Kennel
Dogs have always been a beloved part of our family.  Our dogs are our
pets first and foremost.  We value their companionship, compassion
and unique personalities. Their inquisitive looks, playfulness, and
antics make our lives richer.   We give our dogs the love, affection and
attention they deserve.   Berrypoint is committed to the health and
wellness of our dogs.  As responsible breeders, we take extra
precautions to have health certifications completed, participate in
seminars and research studies, and remain current on research
impacting the breed.
About Us
BICHON FRISES
Lacey, one of Berrypoint's Bichon Frises dogs.
In 1994, I met a vet tech named Kim, who owned Bichon Frises.  I was struck by how both the
Newfs and Bichons had similar sweet and loving personalities…the only striking difference was
their size and colour!

In 1997 we joined the Canadian Kennel Club and registered our Berrypoint Kennel.  Since then, I
have participated in obedience, conformation, water work, and carting.  I am very involved with
our local Kennel Club and am a CGN Evaluator. In 2008 I joined the Bichon Frisé Club of Canada.

Entering into the Bichon world was a very positive experience.  When I handled our first Bichon
in a conformation show in Vancouver BC, I met many other Bichon Frise enthusiasts.  They made
me feel extremely welcomed and included in the Bichon world.  I look forward to continuing to
work with and to learn from them.

Our home is located just outside of Nanaimo, which is on beautiful Vancouver Island in British
Columbia, Canada.
